Noted That:

  • To install correctly this simple-google-analytics.zip.
  • Fisrt Download the simple-google-analytics.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open simple-google-analytics.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside simple-google-analytics.zip and Open readme.txt.
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download "simple-google-analytics.zip" Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your "yourdomain.com/wp-admin" Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on "Plugins" + "Add New" from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse "simple-google-analytics.zip" Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded simple-google-analytics.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on "Install Now"

6. Now, Click on "Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. "Local Google Analytics for WordPress – caches external requests" folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on "Local Google Analytics for WordPress – caches external requests" folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see "Local Google Analytics for WordPress – caches external requests" folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu "Settings" or "Tools".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to "Plugins" + "Installed Plugin" from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find "Local Google Analytics for WordPress – caches external requests" Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on "Settings" from Plugin that is Local Google Analytics for WordPress – caches external requests
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on "Save Changes" button,

Guide
  1. Upload the ‘simple-google-analytics.zip’ file to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory using wget, curl of ftp.

  2. ‘unzip’ the ‘simple-google-analytics.zip’ which will create the folder to the directory /wp-content/plugins/simple-google-analytics

  3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

  4. Configure the plugin through ‘Local Google Analytics’ submenu in the the ‘Settings’ section of the WordPress admin menu

  5. Add your google analytics ID there. An example of Google Analytics ID –> UA-0000000-0.

  6. Choose if your blog is on a sub-domain or not. This option is defined in your Google Analytics settings page. Do not change if you don’t know.

  7. Enter the domain where your WordPress is.

  8. Save it & your done.
