How to add Smf2wp in Wordpress

• To install correctly this smf2wp.zip .
• Fisrt Download the smf2wp.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open smf2wp.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside smf2wp.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " smf2wp.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " smf2wp.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " smf2wp.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Smf2wp " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Smf2wp " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Smf2wp " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " SMF2WP " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is SMF2WP
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

You need to have a working installation of SMF, and it is preferred to have a new WP installation. You must have SMF installed as a directory within your domain. Your forum and WordPress installations should not be on different domains or subdomains! Your blog on mydomain.com and forum on forum.mydomain.com will not work!

For example, if you access your blog from www.forexp.net, your wordpress installation is at www.forexp.net/wordpress, then it is possible that you can access your forum at www.forexp.net/forum.

1. Upload smf2wp to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
2. Uncheck “Enable local storage of cookies” and “Use subdomain independent cookie” in SMF. You can turn it off from Admin> Configuration> Server Settings…> Cookies and Sessions
3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
4. Visit SMF2WP Settings in your Admin Settings section, enter relative URI to your forum, then Save it. If it is accessible, then at this point, SMF2WP is fully activated.
