Social media widget is a simple plugin to show social icons in your site sidebar . With lots of social icon themes and animations . Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this social-media-widget-icon.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the social-media-widget-icon.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open social-media-widget-icon.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside social-media-widget-icon.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " social-media-widget-icon.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " social-media-widget-icon.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded social-media-widget-icon.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " Social Media Widget " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " Social Media Widget " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " Social Media Widget " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  Social Media Widget Configurtions and Settings or How to work " Social Media Widget " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " Social Media Widget " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Social Media Widget
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Install social media widget plugin via wordpress dashboard 


1. Go to the Plugins Menu in WordPress
1. Search for plugin Social Media Widget
1. Click "Install"
1. After Installation click activate to start using the Social Media Widget on your website
1. Go to widget from Dashboard menu
1. Find Social Media Widget and use it on your sidebar or footer or content bottom

Install social media widget plugin via FTP

  1. Download the social media widget plugin
  2. Unzip social media widget plugin
  3. Copy the social media widget folder
  4. Open the ftp \wp-content\plugins\
  5. Paste the folder inside plug-ins folder
  6. Go to admin panel => open item \\”Plugins\\” => activate social media widget
