How to add Surf Conditions in Wordpress

• To install correctly this surf-conditions.zip .
• Fisrt Download the surf-conditions.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open surf-conditions.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside surf-conditions.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " surf-conditions.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " surf-conditions.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " surf-conditions.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Surf Conditions " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Surf Conditions " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Surf Conditions " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

Step-8 : Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about Surf Conditions Configurations and Settings or How to work " Surf Conditions " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " Surf Conditions " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Surf Conditions
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

• Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/plugin-name` directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
• Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
• Use the Settings-> Surf Conditions screen to add your Magic Sea Weed API Key, a location ID from magicseaweed.com, and another location ID from sea-temperature.com.
  • Get the API key from magicseaweed.com: http://magicseaweed.com/developer/sign-up. They are currently in beta so you will have to email them for an API.
  • To get the location ID, visit a location on magicseaweed.com and copy the numbers at the end of the URL. In the following URL, the location ID is 297: http://magicseaweed.com/Mission-Beach-San-Diego-Surf-Report/297/
  • To get the Sea Temperature ID, visit a location on sea-temperature.com and copy the ID at the end of the URL. Example: In the following URL, the ID is 1115: http://sea-temperature.com/water/money%20point,%20va%20/1115
• Use the shortcode [surf_conditions] to display the widget
