How to add Syntaxhighlighter Tinymce Button in Wordpress

• To install correctly this syntaxhighlighter-tinymce-button.zip .
• Fisrt Download the syntaxhighlighter-tinymce-button.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open syntaxhighlighter-tinymce-button.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside syntaxhighlighter-tinymce-button.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " syntaxhighlighter-tinymce-button.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " syntaxhighlighter-tinymce-button.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " syntaxhighlighter-tinymce-button.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Syntaxhighlighter Tinymce Button " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Syntaxhighlighter Tinymce Button " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Syntaxhighlighter Tinymce Button " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " SyntaxHighlighter TinyMCE Button " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is SyntaxHighlighter TinyMCE Button
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Installation

1. Upload plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
2. Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” menu in WordPress.
3. If you need, go to “Settings” -> “SH TinyMCE Button” to configure.

If you use “ WP SyntaxHighlighter “, “ Syntax Highlighter Compress ” or “ SyntaxHighlighter Evolved “, you should configure “Using with” option on the setting panel.

Usage

Usage: To paste your code into the post or page.

If you want to paste the code from the other document into your post or page, this way is best. Your pasted code will be warpped in

 tag automatically.



Click “CODE” button.

Select language and options and paste your code into textbox.

Click “Insert” button.



Usage: To wrap previously-written code in 

 tag.


If you have previously-written code on your post or page, by this way, you can wrap your code in 

 tag for ‘SyntaxHighlighter’.



With the mouse, select and highlight your code where you want to aplly “SyntaxHighlighter”.

Click “pre” button.

Select language and options.

Click “Insert” button.



Usage: To change language and options of previously-markuped code.



With the mouse, select and highlight your code.

Click “pre” button.

Change language and options.

Click “Update” button.



Usage: To indent by tabs.



Just type tab in your code. But till your code is wrapped in 

 tag, you can not type any tabs.
