Start the Tips:

Step-1 : Download " testimonials-widget.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " testimonials-widget.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " testimonials-widget.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Activate Testimonials Widget

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Testimonials Widget " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Testimonials Widget " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Testimonials Widget " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " Testimonials Widget " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Testimonials Widget
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Install Methods

    • Find “Testimonials Widget”
    • Click “Install Now” of “Testimonials Widget”
  • Download testimonials-widget.zip locally
    • Through WordPress Admin > Plugins > Add New
    • Click Upload
    • “Choose File” testimonials-widget.zip
    • Click “Install Now”
  • Download and unzip testimonials-widget.zip locally
    • Using FTP, upload directory testimonials-widget to your website’s /wp-content/plugins/ directory

Activation

  • Click the “Activate” link for “Testimonials Widget” at WordPress Admin > Plugins

Usage

  1. Watch Testimonial Widget
  2. Read How do I create a testimonial record?
  3. Add and manage testimonials through the Testimonials menu in the WordPress admin area
  4. To display testimonials or a submission form as a widget, go to the Appearance > Widgets menu and drag the Testimonials or Testimonials Submission Form widget into the desired widget area. Then configure the widget to select options and display as desired.
  5. Use the following shortcodes to display testimonials on a page, post, etc.
    • [[testimonials]] – Testimonials listings with paging
    • [[testimonials_archives]] – A monthly archive of your site’s testimonials
    • [[testimonials_categories]] – A list or dropdown of testimonials’ categories
    • [[testimonials_count]] – Count of testimonials
    • [[testimonials_examples]] – Displays examples of commonly used testimonials’ shortcodes with attributes
    • [[testimonials_form]] – Testimonials entry form
    • [[testimonials_links]] – List of testimonial author and title linking to full entry
    • [[testimonials_options]] – Displays summary of testimonials’ settings for use with shortcodes and theme functions
    • [[testimonials_recent]] – Your site’s most recent testimonials
    • [[testimonials_slider]] – Displays rotating testimonials or statically
    • [[testimonials_tag_cloud]] – A cloud of your most used testimonials’ tags

  • Through WordPress
    • Via WordPress Admin > Dashboard > Updates, click “Check Again”
    • Select plugins for update, click “Update Plugins”
  • Using FTP
    • Download and unzip testimonials-widget.zip locally
    • Upload directory testimonials-widget to your website’s /wp-content/plugins/ directory
    • Be sure to overwrite your existing testimonials-widget folder contents

Deactivation

  • Click the “Deactivate” link for “Testimonials Widget” at WordPress Admin > Plugins

Deletion

  • Click the “Delete” link for “Testimonials Widget” at WordPress Admin > Plugins
  • Click the “Yes, Delete these files and data” button to confirm “Testimonials Widget” plugin removal
