Start the Tips:1. First Download " theme-tester.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download) 2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard. 3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard. 4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.
5. Now, Browse " theme-tester.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded theme-tester.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now" 6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin" 7. Then, See left sidemenu. " Theme Tester " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " Theme Tester " folder. Noted that: If you do not see " Theme Tester " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ". 8. Copy into your plugins folder and activate. You must enable testing on the Theme Tester admin page (Design -> Theme Tester) after which any theme changes by you will not be visible to regular visitors to your blog. To make any theme changes visible to your visitors you must disable testing and choose your new theme. Warning! If the theme you are testing writes to blog options that your current theme uses (such as header image or colours), your blog’s visitors will see those changes. I don’t expect this to happen too often except if you are testing several themes based on the same theme engine such as K2. |
