Add a Todo Custom Field to Post Types and Taxonomies, create Tasks lists and monitor the list of Tasks. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this todo-custom-field.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the todo-custom-field.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open todo-custom-field.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside todo-custom-field.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " todo-custom-field.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " todo-custom-field.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded todo-custom-field.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " Todo Custom Field " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " Todo Custom Field " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " Todo Custom Field " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  Todo Custom Field Configurtions and Settings or How to work " Todo Custom Field " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " Todo Custom Field " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Todo Custom Field
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Minimum Requirements

  • WordPress 4.6 or higher.

Automatic installation

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don’t even need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install of Todo Custom Field, log in to your WordPress admin panel, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.

In the search field type “Todo Custom Field” and click Search Plugins. Once you’ve found my plugin extension you can view details about it such as the the point release, rating and description. Most importantly of course, you can install it by simply clicking Install Now. After clicking that link you will be asked if you’re sure you want to install the plugin. Click yes and WordPress will automatically complete the installation.

Manual installation

The manual installation method involves downloading my plugin and uploading it to your webserver via your favourite FTP application.

  1. Download the plugin file to your computer and unzip it
  2. Using an FTP program, or your hosting control panel, upload the unzipped plugin folder to your WordPress installation’s wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  3. Activate the plugin from the Plugins menu within the WordPress admin.

Upgrading

Automatic updates should work like a charm; as always though, ensure you backup your site just in case.
