Retrieve estimated wait times for all TSA security checkpoints for U.S. airports. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this tsa-wait-times.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the tsa-wait-times.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open tsa-wait-times.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside tsa-wait-times.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " tsa-wait-times.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " tsa-wait-times.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded tsa-wait-times.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " TSA Wait Times " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " TSA Wait Times " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " TSA Wait Times " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  TSA Wait Times Configurtions and Settings or How to work " TSA Wait Times " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " TSA Wait Times " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is TSA Wait Times
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

First things first – you’ll need to download and activate the TSA Wait Times plugin. From the WordPress Administration screen, click on “Plugins” and look for the TSA Wait Times plugin. When you find it, click the Activate link.

In order for the plugin to talk to TSAWaitTimes.com, you’ll need to create an API key – please note that access may require a paid subscription. Your key allows your plugin to tell us who you are and allows us to monitor the resources used so that we can continue to provide a responsive platform for everyone.

If you don’t have an account at TSA Wait Times, you’ll need to create one, but don’t worry – it’s quick and easy. Just visit https://www.tsawaittimes.com/myaccount. If you already have an account, you’ll need to sign in to either get your key or to generate one. Please Note: If you do not generate an API key, the plugin will return dummy data. Dummy data can be useful for making sure that the plugin works, but you’ll want to get an API key to return live data.

Next, add your API Key to WordPress. Once you have your API key, go back to your WordPress Administration screen and click on the Settings option. From there, look for the “TSA Wait Times” link.

Enter your API key into the appropriate box and click “Save Changes”. Congratulations – you’ve just installed the TSA Wait Times WordPress plugin! Now it’s time to start plugging it into your website!
