Noted That:
  • To install correctly this tweet-collection.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the tweet-collection.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open tweet-collection.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside tweet-collection.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.
Start the Tips:

Step-1 : Download " tweet-collection.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " tweet-collection.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " tweet-collection.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Tweet Collection " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Tweet Collection " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Tweet Collection " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " Tweet Collection " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Tweet Collection
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

Extract the zip file and just drop the contents in the wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress installation and then activate the Plugin from Plugins page.

To get tweets, require twitter authentication. Twitter not serve user RSS feed no longer. So you have to take key and secret string for twitter app. That is very easy. Follow below description. Consider installation description in screenshot page.

  1. First, go to page that request app key . Sign in as your username.
  2. Click Create a new application button.
  3. At Create an application page, fill Application Details fields.
    • Name: Fill you want.
    • Description: Fill you want.
    • Website: Your blog URL. http:// is required.
    • Callback URL: Let blank.
    • Developer Rules of the Road: Check Yes, I agree .
  4. Fill CAPTCHA and click Create your Twitter application button.
  5. You can see app page. If you are on app list page, enter app you made. Watch Details tab. Check Consumer Key and Consumer Secret . Now, scroll down.
  6. Bottom of Details , there is Create my access token button. Click. So, Access Token and Access Token Secret will be generated. Check.
  7. Return to Tweet Collection Setup page. ( Setup > Tweet Collection ) Fill Consumer key , Consumer Secret , Access Token , Access Token Secret .
  8. When you save settings, that is first time getting tweets. Afterward, get tweets by each 20m.
