Noted That:

  • To install correctly this upcasted-s3-offload.zip.
  • Fisrt Download the upcasted-s3-offload.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open upcasted-s3-offload.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside upcasted-s3-offload.zip and Open readme.txt.
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download "upcasted-s3-offload.zip" Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your "yourdomain.com/wp-admin" Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on "Plugins" + "Add New" from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse "upcasted-s3-offload.zip" Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded upcasted-s3-offload.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on "Install Now"

6. Now, Click on "Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. "AWS S3 for WordPress Plugin – Upcasted" folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on "AWS S3 for WordPress Plugin – Upcasted" folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see "AWS S3 for WordPress Plugin – Upcasted" folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu "Settings" or "Tools".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to "Plugins" + "Installed Plugin" from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find "AWS S3 for WordPress Plugin – Upcasted" Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on "Settings" from Plugin that is AWS S3 for WordPress Plugin – Upcasted
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on "Save Changes" button,

Installation and Configuration

To configure the plugin all you have to do is to follow these simple steps:

  1. Install Upcasted S3 Offload either via the WordPress.org plugin repository or by uploading the files to your server.
  2. Activate the free license for the free features or the paid license for the PRO features
  3. Go to: Admin dashboard -> Media -> S3 Offload Settings
  4. Add your Access key ID, Secret access key and Region
  5. Click on Save Settings
  6. Choose your bucket
  7. Click on Save

All done!

Now you have a seamless integration between your WordPress Media Library and AWS S3.
All the future images you upload in your WordPress Media Library will be automatically be moved to AWS S3 and are served to you and to your visitors from S3 servers.
