A non-JavaScript badge generator for videos in one's vimeo account. This behaves similarly to the flickrrss plugin.

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this vimeorss.zip.
  • Fisrt Download the vimeorss.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open vimeorss.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside vimeorss.zip and Open readme.txt.
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download "vimeorss.zip" Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your "yourdomain.com/wp-admin" Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on "Plugins" + "Add New" from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse "vimeorss.zip" Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded vimeorss.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on "Install Now"

6. Now, Click on "Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. "VimeoRSS" folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on "VimeoRSS" folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see "VimeoRSS" folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu "Settings" or "Tools".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to "Plugins" + "Installed Plugin" from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find "VimeoRSS" Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on "Settings" from Plugin that is VimeoRSS
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on "Save Changes" button,

Guide
  1. Upload the vimeorss folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Enter user information in the options menu.
  4. Place in your templates.

You can change the badge by giving values within the plugin call. These are the options: vimeorss( User name, "Feed type",Number of thumbnails, "Before image", "After image",Cache time length in seconds, "thumbnail size", "XML file cache location" ).

Feed types: videos, subscriptions, contacts_like, contacts_videos, appears_in.
Thumbnail sizes: small = 100×75, medium = 150×120, large = 640 by video height.

    Your username is what follows “http://vimeo.com/” on your profile page. Unless you’ve changed it, it will be “user” plus a number. Thumbnail amount is limited to 20.

    Channel, groups, and albums can be accessed now. In the place of the user name variable, you must use “group/XXX”, “channel/XXX”, or “album/XXX”, where XXX is the group/channel URL name or group/channel/album ID (number).
