Noted That:

• To install correctly this we-the-people.zip .
• Fisrt Download the we-the-people.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open we-the-people.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside we-the-people.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " we-the-people.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " we-the-people.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded we-the-people.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " We The People " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " We The People " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " We The People " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  We The People Configurtions and Settings or How to work " We The People " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " We The People " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is We The People
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

1. Upload the ‘/we-the-people/’ plugin directory to ‘/wp-content/plugins’ or install it through the WordPress plugin manager
2. Activate the plugin
3. That’s it!

API keys

Version 2.0 of the plugin introduced the ability to sign petitions via the We The People Write API. In order to enable this feature within the plugin, it’s necessary to acquire an API key from We The People , then enter in the We The People WordPress settings page (Settings > We The People). Alternatively, you may add the API key to your wp-config.php file by adding the following code above the “stop editing” comment:

Note: If you go the wp-config.php route, the plugin settings page will disappear as the API key is the only plugin option at this time.
