Start the Tips:1. First Download " webp-image.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download) 2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard. 3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard. 4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.
5. Now, Browse " webp-image.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded webp-image.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now" 6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin" 7. Then, See left sidemenu. " WebP Image – Convert PNG, GIF & Jpeg to WebP " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " WebP Image – Convert PNG, GIF & Jpeg to WebP " folder. Noted that: If you do not see " WebP Image – Convert PNG, GIF & Jpeg to WebP " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ". 8. Minimum Requirements
Automatic installationAutomatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don’t need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install of WebP, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New. In the search field type WebP and click Search Plugins. Once you’ve found our plugin you can view details about it such as the point release, rating and description. Most importantly of course, you can install it by simply clicking “Install Now”. Manual installationThe manual installation method involves downloading our plugin and uploading it to your webserver via your favourite FTP application. ( WinSCP for example ) The WordPress codex contains instructions on how to do this here . UpdatingAutomatic updates should work like a charm; as always though, ensure you backup your site just in case. |
