This plugin will give visitors an avatar theme of your choice if they don't have a Gravatar

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this wordpress-custom-avatars-plugin.zip.
  • Fisrt Download the wordpress-custom-avatars-plugin.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open wordpress-custom-avatars-plugin.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside wordpress-custom-avatars-plugin.zip and Open readme.txt.
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download "wordpress-custom-avatars-plugin.zip" Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your "yourdomain.com/wp-admin" Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on "Plugins" + "Add New" from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse "wordpress-custom-avatars-plugin.zip" Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded wordpress-custom-avatars-plugin.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on "Install Now"

6. Now, Click on "Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. "Custom Avatars for WordPress" folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on "Custom Avatars for WordPress" folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see "Custom Avatars for WordPress" folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu "Settings" or "Tools".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about Custom Avatars for WordPress Configurtions and Settings or How to work "Custom Avatars for WordPress" in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to "Plugins" + "Installed Plugin" from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find "Custom Avatars for WordPress" Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on "Settings" from Plugin that is Custom Avatars for WordPress
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on "Save Changes" button,

avatar theme of your choice if they don’t have a Gravatar

  • Simply install the wp-randomavatars plugin into your WordPress plugins folder (/wp-content/plugins) and activate it via the Dashboard.

If your WordPress theme does not support avatars (rare), simply add this snippet of code
where you want the avatars to appear:

Icons should be sized at 48×48 pixels. You can use a free graphics viewer/resizer such as Irfanview at www.irfanview.com to do this. To find themed icons for your blog, many of which are free for personal and commercial use, see www.iconfinder.net.

When you have your icons, just add them to the wp-randomavatars/images folder in your WordPress plugins area. That’s it! Enjoy!

  • Upload hide-toolbar folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  • Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  • Once Activated, the toolbar from wordpress admin screen will be gone.
  • If you want to override the settings, simply override it by going to your user profile’s edit screen and check the “Show Toolbar when viewing admin” option under Personal Options.

If you install this plugin through WordPress 2.8+ plugin search interface:

  • Search for Custom Avatars.
  • Click Install Custom Avatars for WordPress
  • Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  • Once Activated, it simply works. The rest of the steps are just liem above. i.e
