How to add Worldtides Widget in Wordpress

• To install correctly this worldtides-widget.zip .
• Fisrt Download the worldtides-widget.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open worldtides-widget.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside worldtides-widget.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " worldtides-widget.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " worldtides-widget.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " worldtides-widget.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Worldtides Widget " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Worldtides Widget " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Worldtides Widget " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " Worldtides Widget " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is Worldtides Widget
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

From within your Admin panel

1. Visit “Plugins > Add New”
2. Search for “Worldtides Widget”
3. Activate the “Worldtides Widget” through the “Plugins” menu in Admin Panel

or Manually

1. Download the “worldtides” zip (from https://wordpress.org/plugins/worldtides/) and unzip
2. Upload the “worldtides” folder to the “/wp-content/plugins/” directory using FTP client
3. Activate the “Worldtides Widget” through the “Plugins” menu in Admin Panel

Activating

1. Go to “Appearance > Widgets” in Admin panel
2. Under “Available widgets” section, find “Worldtides Widget” and “Add Widget”
3. Create an account at worldtides.info and get your API Key from the Settings page.
4. You can also get the Latitude/Longitude from the home page.
5. Enter in your API Key and other settings under the Widget settings area.

Shortcode

To add this widget on a page, just add a short code with attributes matching the fields in the widget editor. For example:

(of course, replace the key with the one you get at worldtides.info)

Here are the names of the attributes and values you can use:

key - API Key
latitude - Latitude (ex. 33.1)
longitude - Longitude (ex. -118.1)
timezone - (e.g. "America/Los_Angeles")
units - "meters", "feet" (') or "altfeet" (ft)
days - 1 to 7
timemode - "hour24" or "ampm"
graphmode - "none", "short", "medium", "tall"
finegrid - "on", "off"
bgcolor - any CSS color (e.g. "#FFFFFF", "red", "rgba(255,255,255,64)", etc...)
dotcolor - any CSS color
