How to add Wp Announcements in Wordpress

• To install correctly this wp-announcements.zip .
• Fisrt Download the wp-announcements.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open wp-announcements.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside wp-announcements.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " wp-announcements.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " wp-announcements.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " wp-announcements.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Wp Announcements " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Wp Announcements " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Wp Announcements " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " WP-Announcements " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is WP-Announcements
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

1. Upload the wp-announcements folder to the plugins directory in your WordPress or WPMU installation.
2. Activate the plugin.
3. To display the marquee in your website: Call the php function wp_announce_marquee(”) anywhere in your theme, use the WP-Announce-Marquee Widget or use the Shortcode [wp_announce_marquee] anywhere in your post or page content.
4. For posts checked off as popup announcements: The Popup will popup a new browser window by default unless you specify otherwise, some visitors may receive a popup blocker alert from their browser. Using the Shadowbox JS or ThickBox WordPress plugins are recommended, just upload and activate either plugin and save your popup type.
5. Check marquee or/and popup announcement on any post add/edit page on the bottom left under categories.
6. Manage announcements from the admin page located under “Settings> WP-Announcements”.

That’s it! A Marquee or Popup will be displayed promoting your announcement.
