This plugin allows you to take control over the execution of cron jobs.

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this wp-cron-control.zip.
  • Fisrt Download the wp-cron-control.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open wp-cron-control.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside wp-cron-control.zip and Open readme.txt.
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download "wp-cron-control.zip" Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your "yourdomain.com/wp-admin" Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on "Plugins" + "Add New" from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse "wp-cron-control.zip" Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded wp-cron-control.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on "Install Now"

6. Now, Click on "Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. "WP-Cron Control" folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on "WP-Cron Control" folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see "WP-Cron Control" folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu "Settings" or "Tools".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to "Plugins" + "Installed Plugin" from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find "WP-Cron Control" Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on "Settings" from Plugin that is WP-Cron Control
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on "Save Changes" button,

Guide
  • Install either via the WordPress.org plugin directory, or by uploading the files to your server.
  • Activate the Plugin and ensure that you enable the feature in the plugins’ settings screen
  • Follow the instructions on the plugins’ settings screen in order to set up a cron job that either calls php wp-cron-control.php http://blog.address secret_string or wget -q "http://blog.address/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron&secret_string"
  • If you like to have a global secret string you can define it in your wp-config.php by adding define( 'WP_CRON_CONTROL_SECRET', my_secret_string' );
