Noted That:

• To install correctly this wp-family-tree.zip.
• Fisrt Download the wp-family-tree.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open wp-family-tree.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside wp-family-tree.zip and Open readme.txt.
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download "wp-family-tree.zip" Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your "yourdomain.com/wp-admin" Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on "Plugins" + "Add New" from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse "wp-family-tree.zip" Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded wp-family-tree.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on "Install Now"

6. Now, Click on "Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. "WP Family Tree" folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on "WP Family Tree" folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see "WP Family Tree" folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu "Settings" or "Tools".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to "Plugins" + "Installed Plugin" from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find "WP Family Tree" Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on "Settings" from Plugin that is WP Family Tree
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on "Save Changes" button,

1. Copy the family tree plugin directory to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory.
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
3. Create a page and put a [family-tree] shortcode on it; (this is the family tree page).
4. Create a page and put a [family-members] shortcode on it; (this is the family list page).
5. Visit the family tree admin panel and set the family tree link option; (Link to page with family tree).
6. Add a post category with the name “Family”
7. For each family member, add a post specifying the custom fields available at the bottom of edit posts page,
   making the posts belong to the “Family” category.

Note: You can put the post name/title of the person you wish to be displayed at the root of the family tree as a
parameter in the shortcode: [family-tree root='’]
