Simple yet very powerful plugin to allow users to upload files to your website from any page, post or sidebar and manage the uploaded files

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this wp-file-upload.zip.
  • Fisrt Download the wp-file-upload.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open wp-file-upload.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside wp-file-upload.zip and Open readme.txt.
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download "wp-file-upload.zip" Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your "yourdomain.com/wp-admin" Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on "Plugins" + "Add New" from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse "wp-file-upload.zip" Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded wp-file-upload.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on "Install Now"

6. Now, Click on "Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. "WordPress File Upload" folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on "WordPress File Upload" folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see "WordPress File Upload" folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu "Settings" or "Tools".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to "Plugins" + "Installed Plugin" from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find "WordPress File Upload" Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on "Settings" from Plugin that is WordPress File Upload
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on "Save Changes" button,

Guide
  1. First install the plugin using WordPress auto-installer or download the .zip file from wordpress.org and install it from the Plugins section of your Dashboard or copy wordpress_file_upload directory inside wp-contents/plugins directory of your wordpress site.
  2. Activate the plugin from Plugins section of your Dashboard.
  3. In order to use the plugin simply go to the Dashboard / Settings / WordPress File Upload and follow the instructions in Plugin Instances or alternatively put the shortcode [wordpress_file_upload] in the contents of any page.
  4. Open the page on your browser and you will see the upload form.
  5. You can change the upload directory or any other settings easily by pressing the small edit button found at the left-top corner of the upload form. A new window (or tab) with pop up with plugin options. If you do not see the new window, adjust your browser settings to allow pop-up windows.
