Noted That:
  • To install correctly this wp-geo.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the wp-geo.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open wp-geo.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside wp-geo.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.
Start the Tips:

Step-1 : Download " wp-geo.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " wp-geo.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " wp-geo.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Wp Geo " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Wp Geo " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Wp Geo " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " WP Geo " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is WP Geo
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide
  1. Download the archive file and uncompress it.
  2. Put the “wp-geo” folder in “wp-content/plugins”
  3. Enable in WordPress by visiting the “Plugins” menu and activating it.
  4. Go to the Settings page in the admin and enter your Google API Key and customise the settings.

You will need to register a Google Maps Platform account to create an API key .

WP Geo will appear on the edit post and edit page screens.
If you set a location, a Google map will automatically appear on your post or page (if your settings are set to).

Upgrading

If upgrading from a previous version of the plugin:

  1. If you are not performing an automatic upgrade, deactivate and reactivate the plugin to ensure any new features are correctly installed.
  2. Visit the settings page after installing the plugin to customise any new options.
