WP SmartCrop will crop your images on-the-fly to match your CSS, keeping the main focal point in view.

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this wp-smartcrop.zip.
  • Fisrt Download the wp-smartcrop.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open wp-smartcrop.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside wp-smartcrop.zip and Open readme.txt.
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download "wp-smartcrop.zip" Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your "yourdomain.com/wp-admin" Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on "Plugins" + "Add New" from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse "wp-smartcrop.zip" Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded wp-smartcrop.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on "Install Now"

6. Now, Click on "Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. "WP SmartCrop" folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on "WP SmartCrop" folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see "WP SmartCrop" folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu "Settings" or "Tools".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to "Plugins" + "Installed Plugin" from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find "WP SmartCrop" Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on "Settings" from Plugin that is WP SmartCrop
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on "Save Changes" button,

Guide

You can use the built in installer and upgrader, or you can install the plugin
manually.

From your WordPress dashboard

  1. Visit ‘Plugins > Add New’
  2. Search for ‘WP SmartCrop’
  3. Activate WP SmartCrop from your Plugins page.

From WordPress.org

  1. Download WP SmartCrop.
  2. Upload the ‘wp-smartcrop’ directory to your ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory, using your favorite method (ftp, sftp, scp, etc…)
  3. Activate WP SmartCrop from your Plugins page.

Once Activated

  1. Upload images to your Media Library
  2. Select an image in the library, so that image details appear on the right
  3. Check the Enable Smart Cropping checkbox.
  4. click edit focal point to choose the location of your images focal point
  5. Click the focal point of the image in the modal that appears. This should be the central subject, and the area of the image that we want in view at all times. For a portrait, I recommend clicking an eye, or other powerful feature. You can change the focus at any time, simply by clicking on a new part of the image.
  6. Click apply so save your changes
  7. Insert the image into a page or post
  8. Style your images with CSS, using the img.wpsmartcrop-image selector
