How to add Wp2smfbridge in Wordpress

• To install correctly this wp2smfbridge.zip .
• Fisrt Download the wp2smfbridge.zip to your computer
• Extract/Open wp2smfbridge.zip to Your Computer.
• Then, Find readme.txt file inside wp2smfbridge.zip and Open readme.txt .
• Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
• Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Step-1 : Download " wp2smfbridge.zip " to Your Local Computer.

Step-2 : Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

Step-3 : Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left Side Menu of Dashboard.

Step-4 : Now, Click on " Upload Plugin " button.

Step-5 : Now, Browse " wp2smfbridge.zip " Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded " wp2smfbridge.zip " According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now "

Step-6 : Now, Click on " Active Plugin "

Step-7 : Then, See left Side Menu. " Wp2smfbridge " folder is added on left Side Menu. Now, Click on " Wp2smfbridge " folder.

Noted that: If you do not see " Wp2smfbridge " folder on left Side Menu then, see at left Side Menu " Settings " or " Tools ".

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
3. Then, Find " WP2SMFBridge " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is WP2SMFBridge
5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

You must have SMF installed as a directory within your domain. Your forum and WordPress installations should not be on different domains or subdomains! Your blog on mydomain.com and forum on forum.mydomain.com will not work!

For example, if you access your blog from mydomain.com, your wordpress installation is at mydomain.com/wordpress, then it is possible that you can access your forum at mydomain.com/forum.

1. Upload WP2SMFBridge to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
2. Uncheck “Enable local storage of cookies” and “Use subdomain independent cookie” in SMF. You can turn it off from Admin -> Configuration -> Server Settings -> Cookies and Sessions
3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
4. Edit plugin with edit link. Enter path to your forum, then Save it. If it is accessible, then at this point, WP2SMFBridge is fully activated.
