Adds support for sites protected with HTTP Authentication via .htaccess rules. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this wpsitesync-for-http-authentication.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the wpsitesync-for-http-authentication.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open wpsitesync-for-http-authentication.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside wpsitesync-for-http-authentication.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " wpsitesync-for-http-authentication.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " wpsitesync-for-http-authentication.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded wpsitesync-for-http-authentication.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " WPSiteSync for HTTP Authentication " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " WPSiteSync for HTTP Authentication " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " WPSiteSync for HTTP Authentication " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  WPSiteSync for HTTP Authentication Configurtions and Settings or How to work " WPSiteSync for HTTP Authentication " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " WPSiteSync for HTTP Authentication " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is WPSiteSync for HTTP Authentication
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide

Installation instructions: To install, do the following:

  1. From the dashboard of your site, navigate to Plugins –> Add New.
  2. Select the “Upload Plugin” button.
  3. Click on the “Choose File” button to upload your file.
  4. When the Open dialog appears select the wpsitesync-httpauth.zip file from your desktop.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions and wait until the upload is complete.
  6. When finished, activate the plugin via the prompt. A confirmation message will be displayed.

or, you can upload the files directly to your server.

  1. Upload all of the files in wpsitesync-httpauth.zip to your /wp-content/plugins/wpsitesync-httpauth directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
