Sidebar widget and template function to display an ordered blog list of subsites (with post count) on a page of the WordPress MU main site. Wordpress Tutorial

Noted That:

  • To install correctly this yd-wpmu-bloglist-widget.zip .
  • Fisrt Download the yd-wpmu-bloglist-widget.zip to your computer
  • Extract/Open yd-wpmu-bloglist-widget.zip to Your Computer.
  • Then, Find readme.txt file inside yd-wpmu-bloglist-widget.zip and Open readme.txt .
  • Now, Read the Requirements of this plugin. Which Wordpress Version and PHP Version are required to run this Plugin in Your Wordpress Site.
  • Then, Follow the Tips Below.

Start the Tips:

1. First Download " yd-wpmu-bloglist-widget.zip " Plugin to your Local Computer. (Click Download)

2. Then, Login to your " yourdomain.com/wp-admin " Dashboard.

3. Then, Click on " Plugins " + " Add New " from left sidemenu of Dashboard.

4. Now, Click on "Upload Plugin" button.

5. Now, Browse " yd-wpmu-bloglist-widget.zip "  Downloaded plugin from your computer, Where you downloaded yd-wpmu-bloglist-widget.zip According to Step – 1 Above then, click on " Install Now"

6. Now, Click on " Active Plugin"

7. Then, See left sidemenu. " YD WPMU Bloglist Widget " folder is added on left sidemenu. Now, Click on " YD WPMU Bloglist Widget " folder.

   Noted that: If you do not see " YD WPMU Bloglist Widget " folder on left sidemenu then, see at left sidemenu " Settings " or " Tools ".

8. Now you configure yourself oR Watch video tutorial below about  YD WPMU Bloglist Widget Configurtions and Settings or How to work " YD WPMU Bloglist Widget " in your WordPress site.

After Activated Plugin According to Step-6 then,

  1. Go to " Plugins " + " Installed Plugin " from Wordpress Admin Panel Leftside Menu.
  2. or Direct go to: https://yourdomain/wp-admin/plugins.php
  3. Then, Find " YD WPMU Bloglist Widget " Activated Plugin from Plugin List.
  4. Then, Click on " Settings " from Plugin that is YD WPMU Bloglist Widget
  5. Now, Edit/Add/Config the setting and Click on " Save Changes " button,

Guide
  1. Unzip yd-wpmu-bloglist-widget.zip
  2. Upload the yd-wpmu-bloglist-widget directory and all its contents into the /wp-content/plugins/ directory of your main WPMU site
  3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  4. Use the widget admin page to add the widget to one of your sidebars and configure it
  5. Use the option ‘YDWPMUBL’ settings page to clear the cache when you make changes.
  6. If you want to include the list in your page content, use the [!YDWPMUBL] tag.
  7. If you want to include it in your template, use the yd_display_wpmu_bloglist() function.
